Sb wrote; ''I am writing a new book, expected to be ready in November. Needing a process to keep me engaged, focused and motivated, I decided to share little tidbits here and there throughout my writing! 

Those of you who know me fairly well know that one of my greatest passions is effective follow-up and mining the gold in your database. I know this continues to be a process that keeps small business owners living in a proverbial “state of overwhelm.”

I am compelled to simplify that process by creating an easy-to-use, easy-to-duplicate, effective blueprint that will help you:
1. Increase Profitability
2. Make the right choices in marketing, site design, and copywriting
3. Move beyond theory to active engagement – not just put you on information overload.

I also know that this topic is not for everyone, but then as a savvy Business Strategy Coach – I know that my purpose is to serve that select few who recognize my mastery and realize how it can provide them with long-term sustainable benefit. With that said, today’s blog post is a taste of the work I will be including in Mining Your Database – Three Feet from the Gold.

My target market is SOLOpreneurs and professionals who seek to strategically share their “legacy message” by putting their Voices in Print. Their primary marketing vehicle is the Internet, so the focus will be relative to selling online. However, as a primary best business practice, the information in the book can be successfully applied when there is no web presence.

Especially when selling online, spend your marketing dollars on the buying behavior you can predict; the method used to acquire a customer greatly impacts the potential lifetime value of that customer. Knowing that 50-60 percent of all online purchases are one-time transactions, and accepting that fact, will help prevent you from wasting marketing dollars trying to change a buying pattern that is not going to change!
